Forex payment gateway integration: price it properly.
Two bills arrive when you add payments: the integrator’s fee and the provider’s fees. Compare both, and check what your CRM will actually do with the data.

Methods and their fees
Cards, bank wires, wallets and crypto differ in fees, reserves, limits and approval needs. Choose for your regions, then ask each provider for its current terms in writing.
Automation and review
Ask what runs automatically and what goes to manual review. Exceptions, such as a large first deposit, should have a clear approval path and a record.

Reconciliation costs
A gateway that does not reconcile cleanly creates hours of weekly work. Ask for a sample daily report. Compare integration quotes alongside our PSP guide.
Budgeting for the full year
Add integration fees, provider fees, reserves, chargeback costs and staff time for reviews. Compare against expected volumes under three scenarios: slow, expected and strong. A payment budget that survives all three is less likely to disrupt your launch.
Scenario: adding a second method
Suppose you launch with cards and later add bank transfers. A good integration treats the second method as configuration and testing, not a rebuild. Ask the vendor to quote the cost of adding a method now, so you can judge how flexible the design is.
Questions we hear
Who pays the provider fees?
You contract with providers directly, so fees are between you and them. Check how they are charged.
Can I add methods later?
Usually yes, as new integration work. Ask for the unit price.
