MT5 server hosting: how to spot a weak offer.
Hosting quotes look alike until something breaks. Use these questions to find the difference between a service level and a sales line.

Where and how
Ask where the servers run, what connectivity they have to your liquidity and whether you may move region. Request a way to test latency yourself instead of accepting a number from a brochure.
Service levels with teeth
A stated uptime figure is only useful if downtime is defined and a remedy follows. Ask what is monitored, who is alerted and how fast someone responds. Ask for a past incident report as a sample.

Backups and change control
Restores matter more than backups. Ask how often restores are tested and who approves changes. Patching without a rollback plan is a risk you pay for.
Reading hosting contracts
Look at the definition of downtime, the remedy for missing the target, the notice period for maintenance and the exit and data-return clauses. Check who is liable for data loss. A contract that is clear on these points is a good sign of a mature provider.
What good documentation looks like
A mature host shares a topology diagram, a list of monitored items, a backup and restore schedule, a change process and escalation contacts. Ask for samples before you buy. If documentation is thin, assume operations may be too, and weigh that in your decision.
Questions we hear
Do I need dedicated hardware?
Depends on load and risk. Ask the vendor to explain sizing in plain terms.
Can I move provider later?
Check the exit terms and how data would be handed over.
